Dot Marker Shamrock!

This art activity creates my favorite shamrock art – I just think it looks so cute and creative!

AND!

it is incredibly simple, child-directed, and mess free! ๐Ÿ˜€

All you need is paper, a shamrock cut from either paper or contact paper, and our trusty dot markers!

I used green, orange, and yellow for this.

Tape (or stick if contact paper) the shamrock in the middle of your paper…

…give your kiddos the dot markers…

…and let them do their thing!

Still doing his thing…experimenting with techniques ๐Ÿ˜€

Hopefully your kiddo loves painting with dot markers, because in order to get the shamrock shape in the end, the outline edges really need to be covered!

When their work is complete, reveal the surprise shamrock!

He was in love with it – I know because immediately he demanded it go on the fridge for “Dadda Mamma!” and there was much cheering ๐Ÿ˜€

I agree buddy, it is quite fantastic ๐Ÿ˜‰
