Get out those flags! It’s time to get red white and blue!
Here’s a look into this starred and striped week of Ms. Jerica’s classroom as well as a few of our favorite art, sensory and STEM activities!
Fourth of July Art!
Click on these pictures to see how we painted the USA,
created flags for our TUN (Toddler United Nations),
and painted beautiful, sparkly fireworks with just a toilet paper roll!
Sensory and STEM activities!
Click on these pictures to see how we enjoyed some DIY popsicles,
sampled the chemistry of pop rocks,
engineered our own confetti popper,
and beat the July weather with some super cute splash time!
Need some party ideas?
Here’s a glimpse into our Fourth of July party complete with:
Red, white and blue snacks…
Great opportunity to practice colors! “Find me a blue one!”
“Find me a red one!”
(add a little visual and auditory ambience 😁)
…a glow stick dance party to patriotic marches…
…and of course….adorable outfits and snapchat filters 😍
Doesn’t he look thrilled 😂
If you’re a toddler teacher, I highly recommend having a PRIVATE Facebook group or something similar with the kiddos’ parents and post millions of pictures 😁
I’ve had so many parents say how they appreciated my picture craze
and the kids love it too 😂
Like any of these ideas?
They’re all yours!
Enjoy and happy 4th!
