I love to do a special and unique gift for every holiday.
Since Thanksgiving is about being thankful, this gift is a perfect opportunity to express to the kiddos and their parents how thankful you are to be sharing life with them!
Because I’m a joker, and I love putting pictures of the kiddos in my crafts, I start this simple gift out by printing out a picture of them with the goofiest smile I can find and gluing that head to the body of a turkey 😀
You can find and print out my card here (or make your own, though beware! When I first did this card I used a free downloaded clipart unaware of licensing requirements. Once I learned it might violate copyright laws, I made my own to be safe, so if you use another clipart just make sure you are following their licensing rules!)
Then I sit down and write down what words come to mind for each child – from there I will write a little note on the card about why I am thankful for them in my life, highlighting those key words in a special color.
I usually then make a simple frame by gluing a piece of red paper behind the card – you could also purchase a simple frame from the dollar store or Walmart.
And there you have it! – a simple and festive card filled with silliness and love 🙂
