Dot Painting Christmas Lights!

Ready for a super simple (and no mess!) Christmas craft????

All you need are dot markers, paper, and a green marker!

If you don’t have dot markers, a simple google search will find lots of options for you depending on the number, color, or store you want. Just one tip – I have yet to find one that is truly “washable” so don’t shell out extra bucks for the ones that claim to be (spoiler: they are not πŸ˜€ )

If you know of one by experience that is actually washable – like I can take the child to the sink and it comes right off washable – leave it in the comments and I will love you forever πŸ˜€

I advise starting with the lighter colors so, for example, they aren’t squishing the yellow marker in the other colors turning your yellow marker permanently brown πŸ˜‰

Let them go to town!

If your kiddo is extra energetic just keep an eye on the paper that it doesn’t bleed through or tear…speaking from experience… πŸ˜€

Next take a green marker and connect the dots!

If your kiddo is old enough, you can connect one at a time and let them decide which dot to connect next πŸ™‚ Great way to practice colors!

And you have your beautifully tangled ball of Christmas lights πŸ˜€
