Valentine’s Whipped Cream Sensory!

Get messy but stay sweet <3

This is a super simple taste and touch sensory activity that also happens to be a huge crowd pleaser πŸ˜‰

However, I have ruined the lives of two friends who disliked it greatly (and loudly) from the moment it touched them, so don’t be completely surprised if you have a kiddo who isn’t a sticky sensory lover πŸ™‚

It only took one tub of cool whip to fill this shallow pan – I used a shallow pan to allow for drawing and writing as you’ll see below.

Then I sprinkled traditional candy hearts and also these candy hearts I found at dollar tree for some size variation (easy math component by asking simple questions like – can you find the pink hearts? Is this pink heart big or small? Can you find the small red heart?)

Sensory tip: When doing a sensory activity that is edible, I make a point to use a food related container and do the activity in an eating related area. This helps them differentiate between which activities are ok to put in their mouth and which are not.

I also make sure if I’m doing something edible that every part is edible to avoid something not safe getting popped in their mouths.

Because you know…it’s going in their mouths πŸ˜†

If you’re using a shallow pan like this one, you can add a language and math component by drawing letters, shapes, even writing your names!

MMMMM! A writing tool and tasty treat!

Not enough snow outside?

Introducing the tastiest snowman ever!

Toddler approved indeed πŸ™‚

…and yes I had to cut him off πŸ˜†

Ms. Jerica needed her friend to be able to take a nap later πŸ˜‰
